Sweet Clover

Silver river Sweet Clover is a rust resistant cultivar of annual white sweet clover (Melilotus albus) adapted to south and central Texas. Silver River is similar to Hubam in forage yield and maturity and performs better than other white sweet clover in high pH coils and hot/dry conditions. Silver River is a high protein legume that is reliable in grazing systems and as a wildlife forage. Silver River can grow 12" - 72" tall, has fair cold tolerance, and can be an excellent pollinator.
